The new King’s Cliffe Heritage website will be launched in the coming months.
Since 1999 our group has researched and recorded our village heritage to create an accessible archive telling the story of King’s Cliffe and its people in the past. Our website of more than twelve years has now closed, but soon you’ll be able to see and explore our digital archive here.
We have thousands of images and documents, memories recorded by villagers and images of village artefacts in our collection. These include many pieces of treen made by King’s Cliffe craftsmen in the days when the village was renowned for its wood-turning and carving.
Visit us in person at our King’s Cliffe Heritage Centre (27 Bridge Street, King’s Cliffe, PE8 6RH) open February to October on the 4th Sunday of each month and Bank Holiday Mondays from 2 to 5pm; or call us on 0843 8869395 to arrange a visit at another time.
While we’re re-building our website, you can contact us by email:
firstname.lastname@example.org – for archive enquiries or to share information with us;
