Towermill, rear Windmill Hse, granary bldgs & gardens across Willowbrook with cattle
Black & white view of the tower windmill behind Windmill House (now no.31 West Street), its granary & maltings buildings and the gardens of Windmill House are seen from the south across the Willowbrook. Cattle grazing in foreground. Windmill built in 1818 for William Cunnington of King’s Cliffe, farmer, maltster and brewer. The windmill, granary & maltings were demolished in late 1925. This postcard used and postmarked 20th July 1919.
