Funeral biscuit stamp with heart design, J Bailey & Sons
Carved print with heart and zigzag pattern, no screw-thread in back but profile slightly concave; designed to be gripped and held in the hand. Pattern identified as one used traditionally to decorate funeral biscuits in the North Yorkshire area.
Made in the workshops of J Bailey & Sons, King’s Cliffe.
