Rear of Old Rectory, tennis court marked out on lawn, believed 1920s
Photo showing rear of former King’s Cliffe rectory (now a private property, number 21 West Street). Tennis court marked out on lawns behind house. Believed to date from 1920s. Rev James Marsh was Rector of King’s Cliffe from 1918 until 1925. We have a photo of him playing tennis on the lawns. After his time, the building ceased to be used as the Rectory and it was part-demolished in the 1930s.
