Dedication scroll in stained glass window in south aisle of King’s Cliffe Parish Church, dedicated to John Groome Howes, died 6th January 1904. Window is an example of the work of Charles Eamer Kempe.
John Groome Howes, born KC 1835, died 1904. Successful merchant in London & benefactor in KC. Country house was Windmill House (now King’s Cliffe House) 31 West St. Memorial window by Charles Kempe (wheatsheaf logo), commissioned by his widow.
