Leslie Broughton, outside a bldg marked '29U' possibly at RAF Wittering
Leslie Broughton, Sergeant (Pilot), 518879, 213 Squadron, Royal Air Force. 213 Squadron was based at Wittering from May 1938 to March 1940, so the building behind him in this picture is thought to be at RAF Wittering. Leslie Broughton born 18 April 1914, killed flying a reconnaissance mission along the East Coast on 5 March 1940.
