Front view of Hall Farm, across Hall Yard, showing courtyard entrance arch to the right, believed taken c1900. Hall Farm was the home of Revd William Law from 1740 to 1761 and, following his death, other generations of the Law family lived there until the early 1900s.

Law's & Hutcheson's tombs, parish church behind
Writing-desk tomb of William Law (died 1761), Sarah Law and Hester Gibbons (died 1791); Mrs Elizabeth Hutcheson's tomb alongside. KC parish church in background. Earlier photos show these tombs were previously surrounded by iron railings, but they were removed during World War 2. Inscription on tombs now difficult to read. Transcribed as item 4260.

Law's & Hutcheson's tombs, transcript of inscriptions
Transcript of the inscriptions on the writing-desk tomb of William Law, Sarah Law and Hester Gibbons; and the separate tomb of Mrs Elizabeth Hutcheson alongside. This transcription was made in the 1980s by the then Rector of KC, Canon John Bryan. The inscriptions have since become very difficult to read.
